KNEE OSTEOTOMIES - CADAVER COURSE
Joint Preservation – Knee Osteotomies training using cadaveric knee specimens. The training will cover operative techniques used in the comprehensive treatment of traumatic injuries and degenerative conditions of the knee joint. The training is organised in collaboration with the ESSKA Osteotomy Committee as an event accompanying this year’s Joint Preservation Congress. The course will be led by Ronald Van Heerwaarden and Konrad Słynarski, members of the ESSKA osteotomy committee. They will be accompanied by other international osteotomy experts. The course programme includes practice sessions in groups of 2 in the form of a cadaver lab.
The programme includes:
• corrective osteotomy of the proximal tibial epiphysis,
• corrective osteotomy of the distal tibial epiphysis,
• treatment of knee joint instability in combination with osteotomy
Venue: Medical Education Centre CEM
Time: 09:00 - 16:30
